Calories · Coffee drinks
Coffee drink calories, cup by cup.
Coffee is nearly nothing; what goes in it is the number. A black americano and a whipped mocha come from the same espresso. Here are the usual café drinks side by side — from a Melbourne flat white to a Singapore kopi — with the cup size each number is for.

In short
A black americano is about 10 calories, a 12 oz cappuccino about 100, a 16 oz latte about 210 and a mocha about 320; a grande pumpkin spice latte with whip is about 390. Milk, syrup, whipped cream and cup size decide almost all of it.

What moves it
Milk, syrup, whip — and the size.
- Milk volume. A cappuccino is mostly foam; a latte is mostly milk. Same espresso, very different glass.
- Syrups and sauces. Each pump of syrup adds sugar; mocha and pumpkin sauces add more than a vanilla pump.
- Whipped cream. Often the single biggest add-on on a seasonal drink.
- Size. Going from 12 oz to 20 oz roughly doubles the milk. The size picker matters more than the drink name.
- Condensed milk. A Singapore kopi (about 190) and teh tarik (about 100) get their body from condensed and evaporated milk; kopi-o kosong is close to nothing.

Calories in PlateDiary are off unless you turn them on. With them on, snap the table and each dish and drink becomes its own save; a PlateDiary AI read gives each one a rough “~” number you can accept or change, or you can type your own number on any save without AI. Off unless you turn them on
Calories in PlateDiary are off unless you turn them on. Switch them on and, when PlateDiary AI reads your photo of the table, each dish gets one rough “~” number. Accept it or change it; a number you correct is remembered for that dish. With Calories off, the app looks exactly as it did before.
A read sends small pictures of the cut-out dishes, with the place's name as a hint — never the table photo, faces or your location. Calorie numbers never go to analytics, and nothing is written to a health app. PlateDiary AI starts with free tries; here is how it works.
