Made for people who eat out.
Couples keep date nights. Travellers keep every stop of a food trip. Cafe hoppers keep their usual order at forty cafes. Find the page that sounds like you.
Made for
Pick yours
People eat out for different reasons, so they remember different things. Each page below is written for one of them, with real tips, checklists and templates that help even if you never install anything — and an honest note on what PlateDiary does and doesn’t do for that table.
Whatever the reason, the start is the same: one photo of the table. PlateDiary cuts each dish out on your phone, files it under the place and the night, and fills in the rest as you go. It is free on iPhone and Android, with no account.

Questions
Questions people ask.
Is PlateDiary only for restaurants?
It is made for eating out — restaurants, cafes, food halls, street stalls and bars — but any table works. Snap it and the saves land under wherever you are.
Can I bring in photos I already took?
Yes. Import up to 10 at a time from your camera roll. Each keeps its date, and its place if the photo kept one.
Is PlateDiary on iPhone and Android?
Yes, both. A few things differ, like the Lock Screen widget on iPhone and Google Drive backups on Android; the platform pages below explain.
