A stamp for every place that ever fed you.
A place is where you were; a stamp is who fed you. Give a moment its café, restaurant or stall and it joins your stamp book, with a page of its own: your usual there, every visit and every branch.
Free on iPhone and Android. No account, and it works with no signal.
In short
Stamps is PlateDiary’s free stamp book of the restaurants, cafés, bakeries, bars, stalls and shops you’ve eaten at. Each one becomes a postage stamp made from its logo, a photo of the front or one of your saves, in one of four designs, and opens a page with your visits, your usual and every branch. Stamps are added after the meal, never at the table.

Why stamps
Where you were, and who fed you.
PlateDiary already knows where each table was. But one place can hold many kitchens — a mall’s food court, a night market, a street of stalls — and one restaurant can have many branches. A stamp answers the other question: which kitchen it was.
You never add one at the table. Snap the meal as usual; later, open the moment and tap Add a stamp. If you’ve stamped that place before, PlateDiary offers the one you had there as a one-tap guess.
The stamp
Made from a logo, a storefront or a dish.
A stamp you’ve been back to looks used: cancel marks across its face and its count, like “4×”, printed as its face value. A place you tried once stays mint.
- A logo or a photo — pick the logo, or take a photo of the sign or the front with the camera in the app.
- A save — one of the dishes you had there, floating on its own ink.
- Lettered — a monogram in one of six inks.
- Four designs — a classic perforated stamp, a round rubber stamp, a seal and an airmail stamp.
- What it is — mark it a restaurant, café, bakery, bar, stall or shop.
The stamp book
Your regular, your newest and every one you tried once.
The stamp book opens on your regular, the place you’ve been back to most, then your visits, your regulars and the places you tried once, and your newest stamp. Search it by name, or by a dish to find where you had it. A map shows every stamp where you ate it, and the stamp sits on each moment card on Home.
A stamp’s page
Every visit, postmarked.
- Your usual and every dish you’ve had there, set out like a menu.
- Visits by year, and from the second visit, a passport page with every visit as a dated postmark.
- Every branch — each of the places where you’ve had it.
- Who came with you, from your companions.
- A share card for one stamp and its story, free.
Old photos
Stamp a whole place at once.
Imported years of photos? PlateDiary groups every moment without a stamp by place and guesses the stamp you have most there, so a hundred moments take one tap. Leave any out first, and undo it if you change your mind.

Questions
Questions people ask.
Is Stamps free?
Yes. The stamp book, every stamp’s page, the map and the one-stamp share card are free for everyone.
What is the difference between a place and a stamp?
A place is where you were, read from the photo. A stamp is who fed you. One place, like a food court, can hold many stamps, and one stamp, like a chain, can have many places.
Do I have to add a stamp when I take the photo?
No. Snapping stays the same. You add a stamp later, from the moment, whenever you like.
Can I stamp lots of old photos at once?
Yes. PlateDiary groups your moments without a stamp by place and suggests the stamp you have most there, so a whole place takes one tap, and you can undo it.
Does Stamps work offline?
Yes. Your stamps, their pages and the stamp book are on your phone and open with no signal.
